I didn't have a chance to see you speak in person but I wanted to mention how much I enjoyed your book and appreciated all the work that went into it, as a Millennial trying to understand Gen Z. I've passed it on to my parents- my dad is a pastor and I thought it might provide some insight into the challenges this younger generation of women is facing so both he and my mother can better relate and serve them.
Everything you write is so real and beautiful. You deserve the spotlight — in the hall you were waitressing — what a beautiful full-circle moment. (A second book !!!! I won't ask! Just excited!) 💛

I appreciated how well-laid-out GIRLS was, in terms of the overall structure as well as the main argument and supporting evidence in each chapter. I'm curious, if you stay on or close to this topic for future writing, if you'll cover Gen Z's use of birth control and how it affects their mental health, relationships, and sense of self/self-worth. I appreciated you calling the pharmaceutical industry on the carpet re: Gen Z and specifically psychiatric medications, but we know hormonal contraception has psychiatric effects as well, esp for teens and young women. Women are active, willing participants and consumers of pornography. Society is highly sexualised with Women at front and centre. Stop blaming men for porn and other perceived ills. Note the bewildering selection of "toys" for women.

I just started reading Girls; I finished the first chapter before writing this. It reads like a true story horror book for me. I have a six year old daughter, and after reading the Anxiety Generation by Jonathan Haidt, and now Girls, I will do everything in my power to keep her away from social media as long as I can.
She is already taking videos and talking about “making a Tik Tok,” or “welcome to my channel.” She learned it from watching YouTube. I do not want my daughter to become trapped in that black hole of mental health issues and social media addiction that many young people, girls especially, have become trapped in over the past 15 years or so.
I too wish to congratulate you on your book. Your voice is so important at this time in history, thank you for all your hard work. I am glad you are writing and contemplating your next book.
Imagine the joy of being born again in Christ. The feeling of self worth in a room of people who think like you, and then that euphoria of sitting in front of your laptop to write again, then the amazing feeling to be within the Jordan Peterson team, but it is more physical than Spiritual. Sure, you might see all those experiences as Spiritual but for each of us we love for true love. I sense we are in love and our lover is our everything in this life on earth. The good news that is Jesus, the Christ. His love is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. You might loose the book deal and the whole world, but you will gain precious love, joy and peace. I bet you see it, at least a little.
