Freya I hope this takes off and that thousands of people (especially girls looking for answers) get to read your insightful words.
Thank you for putting your voice out there, each one of your essays leaves me thoughtful and feeling a bit more enlightened about the crazy stuff that is going on nowdays.
It's like we've been gaslit into thinking none of this stuff hurts us, that we aren't being commodified -- when it DOES hurt us, and we ARE being used and treated as expendable consumers. Thankyou for giving a voice to these problems <3
Looking forward to this , I m a psychotherapist and from the interviews I ve seen with Freya , she’s a very important voice on this which seems to have become so normalised it doesn’t really register . Bravo !
Ever since having it announced, I am just agog with curiosity as to what will your book's title gonna be, and here it is! I love the cover, too!! Really excited, Freya!! Can't wait to have your words read on actual paper hehe.
Looking forward to reading and getting angry and depressed about the absolute state of the culture. Congrats! i HATE the term "porn". It capitulates to it's normalizing and whitewashing as some type of harmless adult "fun". Bleah.
Congratulations!! I've been so excited for you to announce your book since you mentioned in a podcast that you were working on it. Crossing my fingers for you :))
Will definitely buy this but it feels like part of a bigger picture. Late-stage Capitalism and market forces have changed how we view women, but there's nothing unique about this. The same has happened to teenagers from the 1950s onwards when they became a new consumer demographic. Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be any real political movement to combat capitalism's overreach in these respects. The social conservatives tend to support free markets, whereas the 'anti-capitalist' left inadvertently lend support to the most damaging forms of capitalism.

Absolutely stoked for you. That cover is incredddddible.
Amazing! You're one of the few writers out there who live in old fashioned decency and commons sense. Looking fwd to the book.
Congrats Freya!
Just preordered :) Can’t wait to read it!!
Congratulations, looking forward to reading it. Will there be an audio book version as well?
Thank you! And yes I’ll be reading it!
Fantastic, thank you. I'll be watching this space for when it becomes available
Maybe deleting Instagram and Snapchat could be a possible solution? That would be the high IQ move
